2009 Dual Legendary Cuts Auto Comiskey & Rothstein 1/1

    Interesting details on this card.
This card represents the biggest scandal in Baseball History. In 1919 Arnold Rothstein and Charles Comiskey Conspired to throw the World Series in order to gain financially. Comiskey would not have to pay large sum bonuses to his players and Rothstein would walk away with a small fortune. What lies beneath the surface is something of legend.....

Although much is known about Charles Comiskey, Owner of Chicago White Sox, 1919 World Series Scandal, Comiskey Park, Hall of Famer and More; What many may not realize is the significance of Arnold Rothstein.

Arnold Rothstein was a key figure in the "throwing" of the 1919 World Series in which he was also the key bankroller.
