Delivery Confirmation - Out of Country?
Can I put delivery confirmation to out of country? (specifically Australia)
Reason why I'm asking is because I'm doing a group break, and I put delivery confirmation on every package (cause that's the only way you can proove you sent a package....).
If yes, how much? Is it the same 70-75 cents?

From what I've been told, DC is only available in the US. The reason I was given is that every country has a different postal system, ie our DC does not carry over to Australia and their DC (or whatever they have) would not carry over to the US.

I've heard you can get insurance on it, and that's how it can be tracked. Not sure if that is correct, just trying to give a suggestion if you want to read up on it.

Use Priority International Shipping...it gives you a tracking # along with the package. Be careful though as it is expensive. Example...I sent a package to Canada without Priority (just regular first class mail) and it was a little under $2.00. Sent to Canada WITH Priority International Shipping and a tracking number? Cost a little over $12. Check the USPS website for more information...I think it's under "Calculate Postage" to see how much it would cost to ship to Australia.
Hope that helps.

You can actually track any international package via the customs number. It's not an easy task, but it can be done.
I had to do this on a lot that used the over 4 lbs customs form. I just had to submit a letter to the USPS with the info and they did an inquiry. They sent me a letter of when the item arrived in the other country as well as info about the item being delivered to the buyer.
Once I had that info posted, the buyer was able to find the package... in a delivery drivers truck for their company. lol

Geez, wow. Over 20/30?
Thought it'll be around 6-9, haha!
Wow, glad that went well for you.
I'm guessing the customs number would be on my receipt correct?
