Ask them how they feel about collectors highly preferring ITG products over UD

Usually I would LOL at this but no, he's right. Ask them the TOUGH questions, like mine. No one likes the tough one's, ti makes them squirm.

I would LOVE to hear this answer. I am sure Carlin will have some PC answer like "We are the sole licensee and make use of cutting edge technology and rookies, keeping our pulse on the hobby and giving collectors what they tell us they want".

Really? Do collectors WANT redemptions, fake patches and redundant products..................

Can you guys learn how to put up a checklist that was actually correct?

    THIS

I totally agree. The unchecklisted card problem is HUGE right now.

No one can ever truly say their PC is complete as cards keep popping up unannounced.

If you can believe this, I picked up THREE, yes THREE, unchecklisted 1/1's of the SAME player from the SAME product from the SAME seller!

First of all, that is INSANE. Second, that is just wrong that theas they obviously went out the back door and/or redemption replacment.

And before you ask who or what, it is part of something I am writing so I can't divulge details. But UD is gonna look like the horse's rear as usual.

They need to have some kind of accountability or for all we know they can just print up cards of anyone from any years set and put them out of the market whenever they feel like.....................

Fleer Hot Prospects. I have so many people tell me, and just say that they miss the product. Upper Deck could gain more revenue if they bring that product back, we don't need UD Victory. Explain that some products we do not need. Fleer Ultra and MVP can appeal to the younger crowd, NOT UD Victory, and if they brought back Hot Prospects, they would gain revenue.

Redemptions. There needs to be a way to end in, if you do not have the card, take it out of the checklist.

    Question

Will we ever see redemption prizes for an entire game used jersey?

Have you ever considered doing a poll on event and photo shoot memorabilia vs authentic ? I for one would like the game used cards only.

Karine, just curious, why not an interview with Dr. Price?

Oh, that's right, because no one has issues with his company.

I like ITG a lot, but let's keep it honest here. ITG has issues too. Not many, but a couple of relatively serious ones:

1)Lack of serial numbering. I want my card to be # 2/10, or # 16/20, or # 1/1 if that's what it is. Not "the gold version, which according to the ITG website is 1/1". Put a F'*&^%G serial number on it, for the love of Pete.

2)The seals on their Superlative cards are downright shoddy. They dry out, and break apart.

3)The stock they have used for some patch/GU cards is inferior to that which UD uses for most high end products. It bends, even when kept in temperature/humidity controlled environments. This problem is especially prevalent amongst their toploaded cards, ie. superlative.

That said, I don't want to hijack the thread. Questions I would like UD to answer:

1)How is it that a company founded on being the manufacturer that prevented their clients from being defrauded, has fallen so far behind patch forgers, especially when there are such simple, and cost effective solutions available to stopping these forgers?

2)Will Upper Deck ever produce the 2006-07 SPGU Letter Marks that have been outstanding for almost 3 years now?

I will try my best Barrie but it may be tricky...

    Keep the questions coming guys!
