Hedo Turkoglu turns down Magic offer
ESPN is reporting that Hedo Turkoglu turned down a contract offer from the Orlando Magic prior to announcing that he will opt out of his contract. I guess this is why they traded for Vince Carter, as they probably don't expect Hedo to return next season.

The Magic are going to miss Hedo next year, he caused so many mismatch problems. Howard now has a guy who wants to shoot the ball everytime in Carter. I give it a few games and Dwight will have Carter in a choke-hold at practice telling him to pass him the ball every so often.

Turk wants $10-11 million next season...he's definitely not worth that. But there are 29 other teams in the NBA, and it's a foregone conclusion that at least one of them has some crackpot in charge willing to pay him what he wants.

But Vince Carter is worth over $16 million next season?
Not sure how that makes more sense than giving Turk $10-$11 million.
