    Unhappy Jeremy Gordon's Season Update

Hey guys, just wanted to stop in, its been several weeks since my last update and A LOT has happened since then. This has turned out to not be the season I was hoping for in my division.

A couple Sundays ago on fathers day I had a terrific pain and had to be rushed to the Hospital. Turns out I have a Hereditary Abnormalty and am gonna need to get surgery. I actually talked my parents into letting me race that night... went, and won. Thats a plus, but the track has told me now that they are not gonna punish anyone for wrecking me or racing me unclean because, the official quoted "We all know your gonna win". So that just takes the fun out of it. I cant afford to fix that racecar for someones ignorance. Ive had some of the most obvious meens of destruction happen right down to getting TBoned in the door by a lap car UNDER caution. I get flipped off as does my family weekly, and threated to be put on my roof. All because people down there are done with seeing me win and are ready to see their Hometown Boys win some races. So, so be it.

However, if thats not the worst of it, the Bigger track i run at is facing little carnage, but rumors of a lot of cheating. NOS hookups in a 4 cylinder class. Or the Secret Fire Extinguisher Trick which is sprayed from one car and Supposevly sucks all of the oxygen from the following cars engine giving the car infront a lot of advantage. Problems I refuse to compete with, I work too hard on my racecar, and refuse to win against the rulebook. And besides, ITS NOT EVEN A PAYOUT CLASS!

So, Ive made the decision within the past week to slap forsale signs on my Hobby and sell the thing so i can purchase a nice Proven Winner Turn Key Camaro 383ci Street Stock Dirt Car and move up to a Competitive Paying Division. Plus, Im gonna go ahead and get my surgery behind me because health comes first before racing. I hate to see a strong looking season end this way, but i think its gonna be for the better. I plan on racing right now until my car sales. Ill try to keep youall updated on what happens from here, but Ill probably be hanging around the boards more because Im gonna need to do A lot of Card Sales to afford my New Racecar Toy

Top-notch track action brings fans to their feet as thunder
    roars through Double-X Speedway
    June 28, 2009 - California, MO

    By: Ra'Vae Edwards

The Hobby Stocks feature race hit a red flag and came to a screeching halt half-way through the race when California’s Cherry Wineland flipped the number 1 car landing on it’s top at the second turn.
Thankfully, Wineland exited the car without wound! Unfortunately, the car
didn’t fare as well as its driver and was removed from the track by wrecker.

Sedalia’s Jeremy Gordon held the number one spot despite being seriously
challenged by Luke Skidmore of Green Ridge.

Gordon held the metal to the pedal refusing to allow Skidmore enough time
to steal his thunder! When the checkered flag dropped, Gordon rolled into
victory lane to claim the trophy.

    Skidmore took second place followed by Miranda Arnold, Sedalia, in third;
Brian Murphy, Jefferson City, in fourth; and Ralph Booth Jr., Eldon, in fifth
    place.

Prior to the feature race, Gordon claimed the first place spot in the first heat
of the Hobby Stocks and Arnold held onto the number one spot in the
    second heat.

The top five point leaders in the Hobby Stocks divisions are: Skidmore,
742; Gordon, 680; Arnold, 600; Bridgett Clifford, 542; and Cherry
    Wineland, 473.
