    This is the perfect example where bids under the reserve price has no signification. People can bid for fun, with no intention to purchase. On the other side, the seller can say in a future sale trial (card show, etc.) his lot reached the value of $49900 cash! Overall it is good for the hobby, people always talk about high-prices items/collectibles.
