NBA Twitter
Recently, I got into "Twittering".
I found the Nuggets which followed JR Smith (JR Swish is his account name).
What do you guys think about following your favorite player? I think its great to see what they're doing. Its like a close connection like how game-used jerseys were looked at. I saw a few players like Dahntay Jones, TJ Ford, Shaq, Dwayne Wade, CDR, etc.
You probably might be saying "That's probably some dude trying to get a lot of followers by acting as DWade or Shaq".
But who knows, I heard the NBA paid Charlie Villanueva to go to some playoff games (paid plane tickets too) and "Tweet" about the games.
What do you guys think about this?

I personally hate Twitter....for the sheer fact that 'twittering' is the same as updating your facebook status, only you can do more on facebook.
That being said, I'll still go on Twitter to see what certain guys are saying....right now I keep checking Shaq's and Charlie Villanueva's Twitter pages, just to see if there's anything about the Cavs on there.

Eh. I linked it to my phone so I get texts (I have unlimited so it doesn't matter) from JR Smith, Nuggets, and NBAplayers (Which talks about F/As, Trades, the draft, etc.)
So I thought that would be cool to get updates from my favorite player

I have only just started to check out Twitter and I really like the fact that you can read what is going through these guys minds whenever they twitter. I am following Tyrus Thomas and Shaq who is quite open with what he talks about.
Refreshing really.

I am a bottom feeder of the social-networking world...SCF is the extent of my social networking
I just don't see the need, for me, personally, to go on there...now, if someone told me Kevin Garnett was on Twitter, I may change my opinion...lol

ah man, I love twitter haha. I've got several players signing stuff for me all because of twitter, plus I've gotten tons of responses from players :). I also might be getting family passes, GU shoes, etc. next NBA season from some of the players I follow. A good thing that Twitter is doing now is doing a "Verified Account" thing now. They also check celebrity accounts real good and try to sort out the fake from the real.
But overall, I just love Twitter lol. Easy to log into especially. I like it more than both myspace and facebook!
