I've had sellers cancel the auction in the last few minutes, but there are blocks they can use. I got a NPB from an item I don't even remember bidding on and wasn't something I wanted. I emailed the seller and he was a jerk about it. When I have sold items you can block names, people with less than xx feedback or more than 2 NPB. I've heard of other people blocked because their name looked like someone the seller had dealt with before.
I really hate it when sellers cancel items not reaching a high enough value at the last second. I've had sellers flat out refuse to sell items too. What card was it? Someone here may have one......Last edited by xirxious; 06-30-2009 at 01:48 PM.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller. He says he did not block any bids. He also says he did not end the auction early (which I believe because eBay continued to list it as active)
The only other explanation I can think of is a website or software problem on eBays end. Which brings up another issue. How much did the seller lose because potential bidders were prevented from submitting. I know for a fact I would have gone at least $15 higher than the final sale price.
Someone asked what the auction was for: It was an Evgeni Artyukhin Hot Prospects auto patch RC (4 color). There are many other out there, but they are in the $30 - $50 range. This one went for $10.50.Hidden Content
