Good move. They should have replaced Curry when their season was going down the drain. I'm all in for Avery Johnson as the new head coach of the Detroit Pistons. He has a proven record and could do big things in Detroit.

I hope your right man, I don't want Doug Collins coaching the Pistons (again).l collect Philadelphia Eagles (NO VICK CARDS), Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers.

Avery Johnson fits the perfect mold for this team, he preached d in Dallas while he was there. C'mon Joe, make the hire!

Wow. For a team who won a championship just a few years ago they sure are having coaching problems. Their next coach will be their fourth coach in 5 or so years.

Update:
Collins has withdrawn from consideration for the Pistons coaching job. We will be hearing pretty soon Avery Johnson is the new coach I think.
