Apparently, someone offer the MLE to Gortat. (I'm thinking it's the Rockets because Morey went to Gortat's house at midnight.)
So, you might be saying good bye to him, unless Orlando matches.
And if ya'll did get Rasheed, wouldn't Rashard just move to the SF when they play together?

Okay. Apparently, it was not the Rockets who offered the MLE.

Mickael Pietrus started over Lee but broke his wrist or something and was just getting back to norm around playoff time.
Ah, ok, thanks!

Gortat won't be there. Houston is courting him and Magic will likely not be able to match. Sheed is likely going to Boston or San Antonio.
Magic have an incredible starting lineup. They need to find some cheap role players. Josh Childress, Zaza, Kleiza.

Well, the Magic just landed Brandon Bass. So here's how it looks now:
PG
Starter: Jameer Nelson
Backup: Anthony Johnson
SG
Starter: Vince Carter
Backup: J.J. Redick
SF
Starter: Mickael Pietrus
Backup: Brandon Bass
PF
Starter: Rashard Lewis
Backup: Ryan Anderson
C
Starter: Dwight Howard
Backup: Adonal Foyle
That's assuming they lose Gortat. They really need another backup center. What are they going to do, weld the pieces of Adonal Foyle back together?

Regardless of what the magic do, with their lineup, they are contenders next year for the east again, and I will be going to a lot of their games just like the past, sooo I look forward to seeing Vince play, and all the new additions to the roster!
Even though I was sad to see C.Lee traded, maybe it was for the best? Hmm, I see most of the players at RDV Sportsplex where they train and practice, played with a few of them. Cool bunch of guys. Would be awesome to speak with Vince!! lol

Bass was a FA, wasn't he?

From the Mavs?
I guess so if he signed with Orlando. ;)
I'm sure Bass will see plenty of time at PF rather than SF which eases my concern of Rashard trying to post up or defend bigger PF's...
Still doesn't solve the Center issue though.
