How long do replacements take with UD?
Just wondering for those who have gotten replacements from Upper Deck how long did it take? I sent them with delivery confirmation and they were received on 2009/01/14. I waited a few weeks before emailing to see what was going on and got this response:

I've sent some follow up emails in the last week or so with no response
. Not sure if I should just wait to see if they'll come in the mail or just continue emailing and get a response. Any suggestions?

Hmm haven't sent any in a while, but I believe it usually took a month or two... you've waited a looong time. Keep pounding them with emails, or even call them.

With the move of their QA department, things have been taking a lot longer. I sent them out a couple Black Diamonds back in March and was told last week that they're just getting the replacements sent out now. And my Gorges SPGU auto replacement has also been shipped. Should be a fun mailday come Sunday night.

something funny is going on at UD... last time i called about a redemption that to this day i havent got they were quite rude. they sent me a multipage form to fill out and i have to download another form from the USPS and fill it out to get my $20 card resent to me

The story with Upper Deck recently is this, they recently moved from Vegas back to Carlsbad, and lost a bunch of staff in the process.
This has been the issue with them for the last few months - but they are starting to settle back in. What I would do, is call them directly and ask to speak to a supervisor. It's the only thing that gets the job done now with them, if you have no customer service.
Also as an aside, Barry is no longer with Upper Deck - so don't ask for him :)

I have got and they were reasonably fast but I have heard of horror stories where it has taken them up to 2 years....

My experience with replacements has been okay. I won't say it was a great experience, but I won't say it was horrible. I've always seemed to do better when calling.
Now replacements and the shipping time for them on another hand - that's another story (takes forever).

I requested one back in March and received something back from them around late May (they didn't have anymore of the original card, so they sent packs)
