Shipping using a Scale at home...
I saw a good thread on how people ship, and I didn't want to hijack the thread. So, I opened a new one with a couple of questions.
I recently purchased a scale to help in my shipping. I jsut have a few questions on using the scale to ship stuff. When using a scale, do you just weigh it, put the weight in the online tool, create a label, pay, print and send? Can you just drop it in a mailbox? What is the limit on that in terms of weight? Or do I still need to drop it at the PO? Haven't done it yet. And for my wife and I, it would be easier on us with a kid, and one on the way. If anyone can shed a light on this, PLMK. Thanks.

Basically all you do is weigh your package as a awhole get the OZ once you have that and you are created a shipping label on paypal for instance it just asks you how many OZ it is. The max on paypal I believe is 13OZ for a first class thick envelope.

Yes that's true, that's the max.
ANd you can drop it off in any mailbox, even your own so the Mailman can pick it up, no need for the PO anymore lol
