I hope he is able to come back and at least watch the parade next year.

How sick would they be with TMac/Ariza/Battier/Yao if all the injuries wouldn't be a problem..

Lakers are going to miss Ariza's versatility. He was a great fit for them.
Solid addition for the Rockets though I don't see him as a prolific scorer.

You can blame his agent David Lee for this. Any Lakers fan who knows about the Andrew Bynum negotiation knows about this.
Sad to see him go, but with Artest we got better.

I'm biased, and that doesn't strike fear in me.
I'm hoping that someone will offer us two decent-good role players (perhaps Hamilton + Prince?) for Tracy's expiring contract.
I'm still torned that Yao actually has to go through another freakin surgery.
Ariza is a good edition. He'll fit in with our young high-energy guys, like Lowry, Brooks, and Landry.
We still aren't close to contenders. (If it wasn't for Yao's injury and Artest moving, we would be)

Solid addition for a rebuilding team...yes, Houston is rebuilding in my mind. Ariza has through-the-roof potential, and should fit in well with the departure of Artest.
Funny how Artest/Ariza were essentially traded for each other...
