More hurting for the Dolphins.........
Got this on the NFL's website:
Dolphins WR Boston could miss season with knee injury
MIAMI (Ticker) - The bad news just keeps coming for the Miami Dolphins.
Dolphins wide receiver David Boston likely will miss the entire season after injuring a tendon in his left knee during practice Friday, coach Dave Wannstedt announced.
Wannstedt said Boston injured his left patellar tendon.
"It is anticipated that the injury will require surgery," Wannstedt said. "Further details of his condition will be available following the conclusion of surgery."
It is another major blow for the Dolphins, who already are without running back Ricky Williams, who announced his shocking retirement prior to training camp.
In March, the Dolphins acquired Boston - a former Pro Bowler - from the San Diego Chargers for the bargain price of a 2005 sixth-round draft pick. He was expected to complement Chris Chambers, who signed a five-year contract extension earlier this week.
"We have confidence that other member of our receiving corps will step up and meet this challenge," Wannstedt said.
Boston's only season in San Diego was a rocky one as he fell out of favor with teammates and coaches. The bulky 6-2, 240-pound Boston caught 70 passes for 880 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games.
The eighth overall pick in 1999, Boston spent his first four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He enjoyed his best season in 2001, garnering Pro Bowl honors after catching 98 passes for 1,598 yards and eight touchdowns.
In 70 career games, Boston has 311 receptions for 4,619 yards and 25 touchdowns.

boy, has David Boston tanked into anonymity, huh?
He was a trememndously-regarded WR in Arizona... there was a lot of hoopla when he came to San Diego as the Chargers fans were licking their chops at a Brees-Boston-Tomlinson trio....
that never panned out

Yeah and less for my Patriots to deal with. hehe. But to bad the Dolphins did not keep ahold of Robert Edwards. I saw so much potential in him that never had the chance to be released.

Why do I think the dolphins will make the playoffs..............( now if it happens I will be considerd a genious.)
They still got a good/great defense and look at the ravens a few years ago, granted they had a little offense

Rockman they may have a chance at the playoffs if Felley is 2% percent better then everyone thinks he is and Minor has awesome potential I think they have a shot. Bad thing... Brown RETIRED and I thought he would go with the them.
