Sadly it is true. Apparently the injury occurred at a house show vs. Jeff Hardy. Not Jeff's fault as Edge was just running when it happened and I think just turned his ankle. Apparently it was a ACL tear though. Really stinks big time as he was a huge draw and I liked the tag combo.

This will make Vince wish he didn't decide to turn back heel and pick on Teddy Long. Edge & Jericho win the tag titles, and now Edge goes on the DL 5 days later.

Sucks too that he was to appear at a house show comin to my area first week of August and I have tickets. Last time they came to town I got Edge and CM Punk to sign for me at a local bar.

With Batista & now Edge hurt, will Christian finally get some love? WWE has an additional week to decide what to do as they all ready recorded Raw & Smackdown (I think) for this week . Probably give them to the most boring duo in WWE Rhodes & Dibiase. Rhodes is terrible. Plus without spoiling anything, WWE put themselves in a box with the tag division storyline they start on Monday. I still don't get putting Henry on Raw as a top face when he's been a heel his whole career, is awful on the mic, and is below average in the ring. Atleast as a heel, he had a mouthpiece (Atlas) and didn't have to worry about getting over with fans. Would have made more sense to give Christian that spot.
