Awsome collection. I like that era of baseball also, I'm only fortunate to have a few autos in my collection. I think it's important to preserve pieces of history like that. Thanks for sharing and good luck with you collection.

Very true. Actually had the pleasure of meeting Ted Toles, Jr. twice so far - the first time he spent two hours after a card show talking about his playing days and then on the 2nd, he got a real kick out of signing the photos of the two of us and his son at the card show. Ted is a great guy and was a very, very good player. He has his own website here:

    www.tedtolesjr.com

Ted is now 83 and is not in the greatest of health. He is also only the second Negro League player to have his own Heatland Statue.

You can send me a list of a players you'd like to contact and I should be able to help you out. I've listed many players already in the baseball ttm forum but unfortunately, I didn't specifically label them. I'd be more than happy to help you increase your collection.

I have met Hank Arron and Willie May's and got both of their auto's 20+ years ago and have a Buck Leonard and Judy Johnson auto card. There is still a few more auto's I would like to get, but not even sure they are still alive or not.
    James 'Cool Papa' Bell
    Minnie Minoso
and then of course Satchel Paige.
Have you had good result's with ttm?

I attended the 3rd annual Civil Rights Game in Cincinnati, OH on 6/20/09 - The Beacon of Life winner Hank Aaron, The Beacon of Change winner Muhammad Ali, and The Beacon of Hope winner Bill Cosby were all in attendance. There were six Negro League Legends honored before this game:

I also attended a Negro League Tribute Night on 7/2/09, hosted by the Mahoning Valley Scrappers. There were 5 Negro League Legends in attendance for this game:

Looking good. I'm probably not going to catch you, but I'll have fun trying.

FYI, I may have some more stuff for you soon.
