Very nice collection. I see Pumpsie Green on the list, first African American player on the Red Sox. Unfortunately, the Red Sox were the last team in the league to integrate, a shameful mark on the clubs history.

You're right, what started with Robinson, ended with Green. I've been lucky enough to pick up rookie cards of Chuck Harmon and Nate Thurman (first 2 Reds players from the Negro Leagues). I'm in the process of adding them to the scanned collection.

Football: Payton, E. Smith, Sayers, J. Brown
Tickets: All sports, but love Baseball and Football

wow awesome collection. the Negro Leagues era is really cool and i wish we could have seen greats like Josh Gibson and Satchel Paige in his prime playing in the majors
