By far the best of all time is Fallout 3. Deadspace, Fable 2 and Gears of War one and Two are also my favorites.

Other than that, nothing is just absolutely great. I love Madden, NCAA and Tiger Woods, but those are sports games, so I really don't consider them in this category. I hated halo3 (and 2 for that matter) and both gears games.
