    2009 Classics Design?

I think it is the worst design in this product so far. Was hoping it would be nice do to the new owners. What do you think?

I am kind of disappointed in Classics design, but I think Classics is always kind of blah as far as design. I personally think 2005 Classics was way worse than this.

I am also disappointed in people blaming Panini for any little problems. They just bought the company! Knowing what I do about print and design, I would bet that this design was in the works well before Panini made the purchase and if any changes have been made, they were probably minor.

Look at the sell sheets for Leaf Rookies and Stars, that is some pretty forward thinking design. So far I have liked their designs for Prestige and Elite as well. Score looks to be pretty ugly, but it is also designed/priced for younger collectors and I think the design fits the target group

you have a good point, 2005 was blah. I thought 2006 and 2007 were great designs for a mid end product. This design for 2009 would be a good topps total design. I am very happy that Panini has included auto's of Carnell Williams in both of there products so far this year. That is a big plus for me.

Pretty poor design and the inserts look very similar to last year.

Hey, I'm 32 and I like to buy a few backs or blasters every year.lol I still consider Score to be an important product (though cheap) b/c it's the second longest running brand next to Topps.

Im not saying I dont like Score. I do, its a great way to get RCs of a wide range of rookies. I always get a few packs too

I was just saying that it is mainly directed at the younger collector and that this year in particulars design is kind of busy and not very attractive. Last year they had stickers and temporary tattoos inserted and everyone can afford it at 99 cents per pack. I am really excited about the 89 Score style inserts for this year.

I was just joking. I realize Score is a low end product not for everyone. I pick it up for the same reasons and I agree on the 09 design.

I don't mind it, looks decent to me. Anything is better than topps progression
