Wow this board has really amazed me of late...

I was making banners for people for free, i made one for a particular person, i wont name names coz thats not who i am, but anyway he requested one, i made it, came out not my best effort, and i said to him if he didnt like it i could redo it, he said no its fine just change the background color, so i did, and then 2 weeks later i noticed he still wasnt using it, so i made another one, no questions asked, and PM'd him and he said sorry he had lost my post but he liked the new one and would use it....today i saw he was asking someone for another banner still using his old one...

now this annoys me to no end, but if he had just said he didnt like it, it wouldnt be a problem, BUT WHY LIE? and you know who you are

Thats great of you to do this for members for free and you should be comended. Maybe in the future charge 50 card cash or something to make sure people are serious about wanting one and in turn you would be rewarded for your efforts.

i should point out its not ALL members, i have dealt with some very good guys, but there is more than the 1 that annoyed me from the opening post

Sorry you feel that way. Maybe there is a story behind what happend. In my case I had someone make a banner for me but I never used it. There reason was that by the time I got the first banner I had made up my mind to supercollect Quincy Carter. So I could not use the first banner and I didn't think it was fair for the first person to make me a second banner. Good thing another person came along and made me my Carter banner. The first banner was great but not what I needed any more.

i know what you mean. i know that i dont make the greatest banners, but they still take time, and if we take the time to make you one, please use it for more than a day!!!

I agree with you Matt, especially since you were making them for free. Now if they paid you CC, then it shouldnt really matter although it would be nice for them to actually USE the banner. Oh well, the good comes with the bad everywhere and anywhere. Im still using the one you made me btw lol, i REALLY love it. thanx! :)

Nick wasnt you mate.... like you said, if they pay with CC, its their choice to use it or not, but if i go out of my way to make not 1, but 2, for nothing for him, then have it thrown back in my face like that pisses me off...besides you change PC players every week or so , so i expect your sig to change :p
