EBay win.. Am I missing something here?

I saw this card with about 2 hours left, bid was at 2.50. I said what the hell, jokingly putting a bid for 2.80, knowing I wasn't gonna win. I was doing random stuff on the internet, and got a new Email confirming my new Ebay win.. Holy crap I thought to myself.. I wonder how I can win a sweet card so cheap.. What do you guys think?

For starters, it is a redemption card. I guess a lot of people don't want to be bothered with actually sending the card in. Secondly, it is probably not an expensive auto to begin with so the price you paid seems appropriate. Since you are a Deshaun Foster collector it makes it even better for you.

Yeah, true about the redemption part.. But I can honestly say, I have been looking at Foster auto's on EBay for a looong time, and they have never been in my price range.. Usually finishing $10+, but I don't mind the redemption, especially only paying about $3, heh

I say you got a great buy if you don't mind the wait for it.

that's the beauty of Ebay - you never know where the next great bargain will come from.

I know there's a die-hard DeShaun Foster collector on our board, but I forget the username!

probably thinking of me lol :D That's a great buy. I haven't been able to buy a foster auto off of ebay for awhile now because they've been selling high, but if I see one of those at that price I'd definitely have no trouble waiting for the redeeming. Nice buy!

I would definetly say the same thing. If you dont mind the wait its a super buy. I have also noticed a lot of people are not happy with the high amount of redemptions on that set.

    Congrats

Btw, thanks for the congrats everyone.. Been getting different responses on Beckett, some people thinking it's not much of a steal, but I think $2.80 for ANY auto is a steal, let alone DeShaun Foster, who could totally explode at the opportunity.. who remembers the NFC divisional playoff game?

I think it's definitely a steal. Do they have the book values out on it yet?
