Also having the search problem. Also just had a localhost error when I tried to search.

In the orange bar at the top of the page, where you click "My Posts", and select "My Threads", this error message appears:
Connection to localhost:3312 failed

DB maintenance is still going on....thus none of the search features are working...will let you know when things are back operational...

Yes, we are back. Believe me when I say the down time is more painful for US than it is for you. There were missed appointments, lack of sleep and a lot of pain to get SCF back up and running. The disk was scanned for errors, 12 GB of RAM replaced, the database and server software was completely re-installed and the database was repaired/optimized. Without Harry and Charles expertise SCF could have been damaged beyond repair. Other sites have perished from problems like this!

I will also mention that this was NOT planned and took much longer than expected. I have gotten e-mails and PMs stating that the communication was bad on this down time. That is true, BUT sometimes major problems happen unexpectedly and we have to focus 100% of our energy on getting SCF fixed and back online.
