    will beat me to it....w3schools is an excellent site for stuff like that. But keep in mind, web design is an EXTREMELY complicated process. I minored in it when I was getting my degree, and it's not an easy thing to learn. There's just so much to HTML/XHTML/Javascript/Flash/etc. it's basically like learning a new language.

    W3school really is the best. Web design isn't something you can just teach someone over a computer. Heck, it isnt' even easy to do in person.
