TOPPS UFC Round 1 UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Called Topps yesterday because i got an email about a late notification on 2 redemption autos I had, BJ PENN and ROGER HUERTA, they said the BJ auto was shipping out BUT the HUERTA auto is BEING REPLACED. They are replacing it with RICH FRANKLIN from the NEW UFC product. Kind of mad cuz i liked Roger, but oh well. Just figured I would keep all the set builders up to date!!

Weird because I heard Huerta was done with the UFC but I also heard is suppose to fight soon again so who knows. Franklin is a good one tho.

huerta has one fight left and then he is letting his contract expire. He is pursuing acting while he is young and is saying he will come back to mma later on.

im surprised that he wont have an auto, i just read the other day that hes fighting at UFN 19 in September against Gray Maynard. oh well Rich Franklin isnt a bad swap i suppose.

it is because of the incident when he ran his mouth about being upset with pay in the ufc ...ever since then dana has blackballed him from any type of promotional events...did you notice that they put huerta up against a wrestler who will more than likely make him look bad and also they waited till his contract was just about up before they had him finish his last fight in the ufc. They would rather have nate diaz coming off back to back losses fight melvin guillard a coke head in the main event than give huerta that spot in the main event.

Well I guess if you already basically said you weren't gonna fight anymore after this last one, I don't really think he should get that main event spot. Why Diaz and Guillard have it I have no idea. At least give Maynard the opportunity to shine in a main event. He's been better and better
