there's no denying that he is a black icon, but he also was a white pedophile

well, he's not a white person just because he had bleached white skin....the same way a caucasian who spent 50 years in the sun surfing all the time wouldn't be considered black or brown even though it might be described that way

I guess I would just be curious to know whether o'rally thinks Madonna or Angelina Jolie aren't white because they have black children

As far as him being a pedophile...there is absolutely nothing but allegations and he was never convicted in a court of law. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean he was innocent...but I firmly believe everybody in America should be considered innocent until proven guilty. There were two major allegations in his lifetime (one in 1993, and the other in 2003)...the first was settled out of court for 22 million (suspicious of course, but certainly not an admission of guilt) and the second one he was found not guilty of all charges. The congressman who called Jackson a pedophile has every right to free speach and can say what he wants, but he's obviously not a very good politician...you can't just go around saying he's guilty when he was found not guilty by 12 jurors.

That said...I wouldn't ever in my life let my kids anywhere near the man!

O'Reilly is a nut but I do agree with him that Sharpton's speech at the memorial was a bit overboard. The speech made it seem like he was putting MJ on a MLKJ level which is laughable to me.

I didn't watch and I didn't read Sharpton's speech...and it is laughable to compare pretty much anybody to MLK Jr....but Michael Jackson was the Jackie Robinson of music...he completely shattered walls... a lot of people's speeches at funerals are overboard...things get exaggerated to try and honor the person as best as possible...it's just most funerals aren't 4 hours long with the whole world watching

And for o'rally to say that's not important...let alone saying his humanitarian efforts were not important is ignorant at best
