see that is what i don't understand about shill bidding, why do it? you would have to pay the final sale fees if the shill didn't work...
and on a lot like this, what if buddy ups it just one too many times and gets caught and has to keep his cards.. he has to pay a pretty high final value fee ..

It seems like a high price per card, but also consider how hard some are to come by at a reasonable price, or at all

The buyer ended it early. Why would he do that? There is an eBay message on that auction: "The seller ended this listing early because the item is no longer available for sale." There is also this line of text in the seller's spiel: "I Will also listen to reasonable offers."
So ya think the seller got an offer he couldn't refuse?

My guess is that he either got a great offer or was just testing the waters. Either way, he's got to be pretty happy.
