lol, never really noticed before (then again I don't pay attention to the pacers), very interesting thought. I don't see the big deal though, they're all professionals either way, regardless of race.
However, if Larry Birds trades Granger for a player like Mike Miller...then something's going on...

Why does race matter? We are all human...that's all that matters...I've always disliked it when people bring up percentages in terms of race...arrgh...nothing against anyone here...I just dislike it when reporters talk about "he's ____, so that's why ___ happened" or "he's ___, so we should expect this" or whatever...we are all equal, and we are all a single race - the HUMAN RACE!

yeah i can't believe it has made ESPN and everything else...why does race matter? all sports are getting affected by all these racist comments, pretty much all coming from the media. I wish race could just be cut out completely, at least all of the derogatory talk about different races. They're all professional athletes! They're all the best in the world! Get over it!
lol thought I better just put my thoughts about it all on the table. :)

Thank you! I'm glad I'm not alone in my thoughts! :-) I just wish that everyone - not just media and athletes, but everyone - could just look at people as this person or that person, and not the (insert race here) person....if you want to have an opinion of someone, form it on that person's decisions and actions, and not a pre-determined opinion based on skin color.
I'm not going to comment any more on this now, as I've said what I wanted to say, and I don't want to drag this into something more than it needs to be :-)
Sorry for going a bit OT, tikitomoka.

Ok, good...now I don't feel like a big donkey for posting what I did, even though I stand behind it. :-)
