$8 shipping 10 cards is still outrageous, $4 shipping one card is ridiculous as well i'd say, i certianly wouldnt pay that unless you are spending $4 to ship my card, like said before, your going against ebay rules to begin with by doing excessive shipping

That is the exact reason I offer no shipping discounts and will not ever ship 2 different auctions in the same package. Leads to too many questions and potential problems.

This is very unprofessional, but this is part of a rant.

So we have this guy that bought about 10 to 12 hockey cards from ebay from us. We charge the normal $4 bucks for the first card, 50 cents extra per card for shipping from the USA to Canada. Lets just say it's 10 cards, so shipping would be $12.50. I believe I sent him an invoice for $8 shipping, I know 12.50 is too much. Yeah yeah, $8 is too much, but ebay fees, paypal fees, toploaders and bubble envelopes add up over time. He refuses to pay this, and tells me he'll pay $3.50 to ship them all cause he does this all the time. I refuse this offer, we would loose money between packaging/shipping fees. So he leaves us negative feedbacks for these items. (if you look at the feedback he leaves, he does this several times to other sellers also) AND he refuses the mutual agreement to cancel the transactions so we pay all the ebay fees on this crap too. Ebay refuses to help with the fees or the negative feedback.

So the unprofessional part is I want revenge. Using another ebay name to bid on something of his and leaving neg. just won't make me happy. So, is there a website where I can put his address and phone number so he will be harassed. That would be fun.

I feel this entire issue stems from ebay not letting sellers leave negatives anymore. The buyers can just walk all over the sellers. Where else can you sell cards online and get the exposure that ebay gives? We must create one...

$4 for a single card is outrageous, as well as saying a $3.50 shipping charge isn't enough to cover packaging/shipping for a small lot of cards. There is NO WAY that that is possible for a bubble envelope with 12 or less cards

Well I ship with free shipping as a service

If it makes you feel better, I just bought and paid for 8 cards and paid 10.00 shipping--3.00 for the 1st card, and 1.00 for each after. Why because I wanted the cards, but do I think the shipping charges are rediculous, just as yours are, absolutely

Who cares if you have a few negs. Everyone does. I pride myself on my ebay business and I get a few negs every year. Not everyone can be reasonable. I'd just learn to get over it. If you are a good seller it's not like it's going to hurt you. The guy did know the shipping practices so his negs are unwarranted. However, you may want to take a look at your combined shipping practices to keep customers happy.

Maybe do the flat rate for the first card and then a $1 extra for 1 to 5 more singles and $2 for 6-10. Something like that may help offset the fees and still be reasonable for your buyers. Heck, you may find you get more sales. If I needed ten cards from you and figured 12.50 was what it was going to cost me to buy them I wouldn't even send you a question about combined shipping.

Also, if you're having trouble covering your fees with singles you may adjust what you list. I'm not sure what the sell prices of these cards were, but some cards just aren't practical to list on ebay as singles. You may want to try lots for those.

I know you're ****** and this is a rant, but I'd just rant and get it off your chest. no need in taking revenge on this guy. You'll waste a lot of time. Use that time to just list some more stuff on ebay and look into adjusting your combined shipping.

If you bid on the item that means you agree to all the total charges. But, trying to smear someone on a webiste is just immature. After reading your post, I eill not feel comfortable dealing with you. That is just my personal opinion,.

this has nothing to do with you, but I hate when people sell things on ebay and try to make it look like they have a great deal, but then make up the cost of the deal in the shipping. say someone lists a hobby box for 50.00 and make shipping 30$

The guy knew the shipping charges when he agreed to buy the items...you can't just win/purchase an item and then decide the shipping is too much and you won't pay it. If you bid/buy it now, you're agreeing to the terms listed in the item listing, no matter how ridiculous they might be.

100% correct, the buyer is a fool and shouldn't of bid if they were going to whine and back out when they couldn't get their way.

Oh he wasn't fooled, he knew what he was doing from the start. Some jerks buy/bid something and then threaten the seller with a neg if they don't lower the shipping...and with eBays completely anti-seller, scam-friendly rules that favor the buyer, there's nothing the seller can do about it.
