    Anyone ever seen this?

I recently purchased this Michael Jordan autographed jumbo card off of Ebay. I have never seen one like it before and have not been able to find another one or any information about it. It came with the Upper Deck certificate and matching hologram on the back of the card. Has anyone on here ever seen one like it or know anything about it. I was a little suspicious about buying it but I came across the auction with very little time left before it ended and couldn't pass up an MJ auto for only $162 so I went ahead and bought it. I hope I wasn't ripped off. I just got the card in the mail yesterday and it seems authentic. Please let me know if anyone knows anything about this card. Thanks.

Here is a link to the ebay auction

I was thinking the same too because I have 2 other MJ autos that I know are real but don't look like this one. I thought maybe it looks different because he signed such a small item with a thick marker. The certificate and holograms look real though and all the numbers match. Has anyone heard of fake holograms being put on cards?

    Wow~

WOW..yup that is a BAD auto. Luckily for you though..the UDA stands for Upper Deck Authenticated. Since you have the serial number (UDA #BAF42455 ), you can write to Upper Deck themselves and have them verify the auto and the actual card. Let them verify that it's UDA. Send them a link to the website. If it's FAKE..I'm sure they'd be VERY interested in knowing someone is using thier name to sell 'Forged' autos of their top autographer. Hope you didn't pay for it yet.

    Evan~~

Thanks for the advice. I just sent upper deck an email with a link to the auction along with the serial number for them to verify. Hopefully it is the real deal because I really don't want to have to go through the process of getting a refund and sending the item all the way back to Korea. Unfortunately I have already paid for the item since they won't send the item until it is paid for.

It seems like it is real though. The only way I could see it being a fake is if someone took the hologram off of another item and placed it on the Jordan card since the certificate does not state the name of the item, only the serial number. Both the holograms on the card and certificate look to be legit compared to other items I have bought directly through upper deck. It is an older item so it does not show up on the Upper Deck Database.

I will let everyone know what Upper Deck has to say. If they say it is real then I think I got a good deal getting a Jordan autograph for $160.

Definitely good deal at that price. Keep us informed..the seller seems to have ALOT of MJ auto stuff..would hate to see him throwing in a bogus one.
