Wolves sign two of their draft picks
Local Minnesota news is reporting that the Timberwolves have signed sixth overall pick Jonny Flynn and 28th overall pick Wayne Ellington to rookie contracts. Flynn will make at least $2.47 million his first year, and Ellington will make a "measly" $830,000 in his rookie season. Ricky Rubio, the fifth overall pick, remains unsigned, and will not sign until his contract with his team in Spain is up.

Awesome! Nathan I bet your happy about Flynn! He is gonna be a legit I can feel it!!! Although I did feel this was about Dee Brown..

I'm happy about both...Ellington was a great player at UNC, and could prove to be a steal at #28 if he turns into a dynamic scorer like I hope he will....

And I felt that way about Adam Morrison...surprising that Dee Brown was the star guard in Illinois with Deron Williams on the same team...at least that's how I remember it anyway...

Well, there is always a possibility...look at Rubio...he didn't really have a choice, but players could pull something like that with no reason behind it...it's rare, but I'm pretty sure it's happened.
