I'm really surprised that they didn't - they're generally pretty good with stating the set that the card is from, I don't know why they didn't just put "2008-09 O-Pee-Chee Metal X" on the back like they do with a lot of the releases.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I only consider it the Metal X if it has mountains, just to be sure

Gold/Rainbow
Metal
Metal X with nothing but refractor
Metal X with muntains
Metal X with refractive dots
79-80 Retro

no i think theres only one, it said some have the mountains and some don't so they're both thrown into the metal x category

as far as I am concerned there are three versions
Gold
Metal
Metal X
People are just reading into it way to much. just my opinion.
