And to start off with just from the naked eye i can tell the centerring is off... so you can only hurt the value of the card by getting it graded and it coming back with a poor grading...

its a sick card... be happy with it

what do you think the centering grade would end up as... 8.5-9? if the corners, edges and surface are gold, i think the card can still pull a 9 and a 9 for auto

agree with monte. don't get it graded. it will only hurt the value if you're looking to move it. BGS is pretty strict with their sub-grades. I would go even lower with the auto to 8.5. Centering appears to be 35/65 l/r, which is between 8-8.5. You'd need a 9.5 or 10 to pull it back up, but with an 8.5 subgrade you'd still hurt the value in my opinion. Please don't get offended. I'm only basing it on what I see from the scan.

How would the auto be an 8.5? that makes no sense at all. Not getting offended, just dont get how the auto would be an 8.5. do they even grade autos that low? BTW, not moving it OR grading it ;) thanx

sure it makes sense. BGS grades autos as low as 5. They don't arbitrarily assign a number. I'm basing the auto grade on the sig running off the sticker at the top. Here's a reference for you that explains their grading. It also says they don't use half point grades on autos so it would be up to the grader to decide if it would qualify as an 8 or 9.

Alright im not getting it graded lol, but i could pretty much guarantee the auto wouldnt get an 8.5. Ive seen terrible autos get 9's so i doubt mine would get an 8.5 or lower. thanx for all the help though guys. thanx :)

Even if it goes off just a little, that's a 9.

the auto is a 10... Ive graded a few autos in my past and they dont grade too hard on autos... the grade hard on the overall stuff tho..

There ya go Nick. He's had them graded. I was going off the criteria on the website, specifically where it addresses autos that run off the sticker. I think you can get just the auto graded or at least authenticated and slabbed. That might be another option. Not sure though.

udboxbreak, i read on their website about half point grades and corrected myself in post #14. thanks for the info.
