But when you take into consideration that she was moronic to hold it between her legs while driving....that's where the stupidity comes in.

Coffee is hot...was she expecting McDonald's to serve their coffee cold that day? I'm sure it was an ordeal and I'm sorry she was hurt, but it's not McDonald's fault she doesn't know how to properly hold a coffee cup. Would she have sued if she had taken a sip and it burned her tongue? No, so the problem wasn't that it was too hot, the problem was that she spilled it, which was her fault.

Just curious...
Did the court manuscripts say what the apporpriate temp is for hot coffee?
Thanks...
ps...
If the report of the lawsuit is true, then Cory's family are greedy and unscrupulous.

That's just ridiculous. The things people would do to get a settlement.

I find it sad because the family sued the Vikings and won, sued the NFL and won, and now are suing Riddell. Next thing you know they'll be suing the company that made the shoes, socks, underwear, and uniform he wore. Stringers death was unfortunate but I don't feel that it justifies the family capitalizing on it by suing everybody.

Does anyone know what the take on the settlements were?
I would think that a judge thats familiar with these cases would drop all further suits...

It's a sad scenario indeed. Tragic, and no one should point fingers and be rewarded for blaming...
