Creating your own SCF RSS Feed

A lot of people use Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds to get updates on their favorite websites from their My yahoo, iGoogle, iPhone and other tools. On SCF, you can track all of SCF, a specific forum or a combination of forums.

To track a specific forum simply use this simple RSS URL and replace the las number with the SCF forum number:

    HTML Code:
    https://www.sportscardforum.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumid=1
After the = sign add the forum ID. To get the SCF forum ID click ont he forum you want to track and take the last number. For example, here is the URL for the Football Contest Forum:

    HTML Code:
    https://www.sportscardforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=353
    The forum number is 353.

So, I would grab the 353 and add it to the RSS URL that I posted above making:

    HTML Code:
    https://www.sportscardforum.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumid=353
Just add a comma if you prefer multiple forums in your feed. For example, if I also wanted to add the Football Card Talk forum I would add 57.

    HTML Code:
    https://www.sportscardforum.com/external.php?type=RSS2&forumid=57,353
Here is an example of what the feed for these two forums look like.

Some common RSS feed readers are:

    • iPhone Applications
    • iGoogle
    • My Yahoo
