Outdated addresses are not removed from the TTMM for reference purposes. Senders who mail c/o team should always check to see if the player is actually on that team's roster before sending. That's common sense.
In the case of Ryan, if something was sent to him c/o the team, it's usually either RTS'ed back to the sender or could be forwarded to the player.
The TTMM is a community-owned resource. If you see an address that needs updating, feel free to add the player's new address. As we get closer to the trade deadline, we'll see a lot of player movement. The success of the TTMM comes from members all pitching in and contributing. :)

For players c/o team. It helps to keep all the teams and successes to help see if a player has a history of signing or to see if certain teams do not forward mail.

an excellent point! I know for instance that Washington Wizards players never see any TTM requests, the team intercepts and either returns or destroys them, and Ive seen that with other teams as well, although I cant remember any right off the top of my head.
Thanks for pointing that out, as another good reason to leave existing addresses in the TTMM

Another reason that we have not deleted dated addresses is people may still have requests out pending at the old address. Deleting the address would delete the pending in their personal list. You can enter who you are sending to, how many items sent and when sent towards an address when you mail the requests out.
You can look and see who is pending or you recorded successes from by selecting the link" My TTM Report " from the left menu! Select the sport after hitting that tab and it will tell you the success % that you have entered in, who you have pending and who you have gotten back! We would not want to effect these entries by eliminating addresses.
Thank you for pointing out these types of changes. It is important that we try to add the new teams when someone moves via trade or free agency.
