Heading down to the Card Shop tomorrow, need some help

So tomorrow will be a good day, me and my pops get to hang out and we are going to run out and just hang out and whatnot but any way, Im sure we'll drive by my LCS as I need some supplies but I want to bust some wax. Im really leaning towards either Topps Magic or Bowman Jumbo as in my opinion they are both very good products even if the Magic is hit or miss I love the design.Im kinda leary towards Classics as I dont really like it this year, and I really dont like Icons this year. But Im looking for some packs also so let me know what would be good, as right now Im leaning towards a box of Magic and some packs. Also what 08 products would be good as this years draft class is pretty weak. So let me know, thanks

Idk man i busted bowman jumbos and hit nothing at all. Ive seen 3 boxes with no hits and like 100+ boxes only has like 1-2 good hits. and magic you get a couple autos but totally hit or miss. The inserts in classics book a lot ! Like the inserts of hall of famers /25 usually book a minumum 20$ and the base commons /999 book like 6$ atleast ? Id say classics or icons . But just my 2 cents. Hopefully that helps ?

yea i wouldnt bust anything from 09 yet- I reccomend 08 for sure- but then again i dont bust wax anymore-its like trading in a hundred dollar bill and getting back 2 20''s most of the time (if that) I would see what the shop had for singles and if you really want to bust a box- go with 08

Gotbrady, ya I know the inserts are crazy high! Saw a Cowboys Quad /25 sell for like $35!

Redsox, thanks for the reminder, I forgot about the singles but my shop has ooutrageous prices on them. Like they had Marino Rookie that was graded an 8.5 and they wanted $100 for it, so Im kinda learing about singles
