Preds add depth; RFA news; Scooter speaks
A few odds and ends before I take a breather for a few days:
First, the Predators have signed forward Peter Olvecky to a one-year, two-way contract worth $500,000 on the NHL level and $105,000 on the minor-league level.
The 6-2, 195-pound Olvecky split last season between Houston of the AHL and the Minnesota Wild, collecting seven points (two goals, five assists) in 31 games for the Wild.
