I stopped going to shows around here because sellers have the new lower to mid end flavor of the week type junk and not the things I collect like sp authentic.
Also the guy who runs them knows I'm a Saints fan, and because he wants to help out all the other dealers there, announces it so they could try to sell me their junk they might have even stuff like Aaron Brooks or Joe Horn. That's why I don't go to shows anymore

I dislike dealers that want full book for the star rookie auto's, and when you have something to sell, they want your cards for next to nothing. I know that we are both out to make some money on our cards, but when I offer a card at a fair value, and they counter for a number that is a verbal slap in the face, it makes me want to say something, but I am bigger than that.

I don't like making an offer (I was buying a 2007 Fleer Ultra Stars Jersey Carson Palmer and a 2007 Ultimate Collection Ultimate Game Patch #'ed/99 Carson Palmer, he said $15, I said no, he said offer, I said $10, so he offered to go down to $12 and I bought the cards...but still annoying)
I do like when the dealers will lower the price when you buy multiple cards from them. (I bought several cards from one guy, 4 jersey cards, some refractors, and others, normally he wanted $48.75 for all the cards, he let me have them for $40)
But I've never been a seller so I don't have experience there.

- Dealers who give $3 off on a box and act like it is a huge loss. I understand I won't get boxes for half off, but don't patronize me. Especially when I am buying multiple boxes - I'll ask for like $10-20 off depending how much I buy. Thing is, there is really only one group of dealers with any kind of extensive selection of boxes, so even on boxes they've had show after show it is a struggle.
- Messy displays/cases. I understand sellers have a lot of people around, and they're constantly taking and putting back cards from their cases. But many times it gets to be a painful viewing experience - cards stacked on top of each other, at different angles or directions. A little effort to keep the cards decently organized can go a long way.

I only have one show near me and some of the sellers have high prices. But some of them give you good deals. But most of them have high prices.

You hit the main ones for me. Unpriced cards when it comes to stuff in boxes. If you have 50-100 showcase cards I'm okay with them not being priced, but if you have a monster box you'll have more luck selling if you make it a dime box of dollar box, etc.
I also hate the sellers that want offers. You know what you paid for it and you know what it ebays for (if it's a single) so you know what you want for it.
This isn't an issue now, but back in the day I hated when dealers would smoke right at their tables. It seems crazy that that was even an issue, but we had some shows and guys would chain smoke right at their table.
I also hate when a dealer isn't at their table for extended amounts of time. I get having the guy next to you or your kid or your girlfriend watch the table while you run to the restroom or to look at another dealers stuff real quickly, but if the person can't sell your stuff or quote prices you probably shouldn't be out shopping half of the day.
and if you are a dealer and all you have are cards of the local team you probably aren't going to fair that well. at least in my opinion.

My biggest pet peeve is sellers who think their cards are gold, and ask way over what the real market prices are. This group also gets added to the "price is firm" group of guys who never really sell anything, and then complain about how bad the show was. If you are trying to sell cards for $10 that can routinely be picked up for $3, something's wrong. Also, guys asking premium prices for ungraded cards. "Well, this is probably a PSA 9, so I want PSA 9 money for it". Well, it's not a PSA 9. It's an ungraded, raw card, either price it accordingly, or send it in to get graded yourself.
I hate shows :)

Same here.I haven't attended a card show in at least 10 years, and back then there were only a handful of dealers and most of them were royal pains who I disliked tremendously.

I hate it when the seller doesn't even acknowledge you are at their table.
I also hate it when sellers dont have bargain bins with like rookies or cheap gu/autos because that is what I am usually looking for, lol.
