Blackhawks Convention

Today i went to the convention and i am also going on Saturday and Sunday.
Today i had a BLAST. i loved watching the auctions, i thought they were pretty crazy. Someone paid $800 for a pair of autographed game used nikolai khabibulin gloves :). and $650 for a GU James Wisniewski jersey.

but my favorite part was the autograph session. since it was the first day they didnt have alot of people signing so i picked up as much as possible. i got 2 autos of my favorite player, CAM BARKER 1 on a hat and 1 on a 8x10. and i got a Cristabol Huet on the same hat as the barker auto. and then on a seperate hat i got one of my dads old favorite player Steve Larmar.

keith is actually signing tommorow, but unfortunatley i cant get his. i have work at 4 so i have to leace the convention around 1. he starts signing at like 2 or 3.

but... im going ot go for Dustin Byfuglien, Brent Seabrook, and maybe Kris Versteeg

just got back and i got VERY lucky with my autos i got today.

First i got there at 8:30 and they didnt start signing until 9. but when i got there there was an extremley long line waiting to get in, so i hopped in line. Waited about 30 mins for them to let people on, then i went Straight to Andrew Ladds line. So i get his auto on my hawks hat.

Then i ran straight to Brent Seabrooks line and luckily got his auto on the same hat. I had to wait about 1 and a half hours for this one.

then i didnt think i would get anymore, but i was in the gift shop and they had a Authentic versteeg jersey for $200 and all of the other authentic Jerseys were $400. So i decided to buy the Versteeg and then figured id try getting it signed. So i was waiting for about an hour and then they closed the line when i was 20 people away. and i was Very angry that i wasnt gonna get the auto. but...... then when they closed the line everyone stayed in line and Versteeg noticed that and he told the securoty gaurd to let 20 more people in. I was the 20th person :).

I thought that was very awesome of Versteeg to do that, and now i have an authentic autographed Versteeg Jersey.

Then on the way out i noticed there was about 5 people in Aaron Johnsons line, so i decided to get hos auto on my hat as well. :)

On the NHL auctions, they were auctioning off breakfast with former or current blackhawk stars like Jonathon Toews. Pretty cool if they had something like that in Vancouver with the Vancouver Canucks. How much did it cost to go to the convention? Just curious.

Just got back from day 3. Another pretty cool day.

First i got Byfugliens auto on my hat that all the other people signed.

Then i got Cam Barker (again, thats 4 now) to sign my authentic Barker Jersey :).
