I bet he never sees a game with the Canadiens this year. Maybe backup a game or two, but that's about it.

Not bad though, he gets 100K for playing in the minors.

Halak or Price will be gone soon, probably Halak... unless Carey Price doesn't reach expectations on next year. Even if Price can play very great for half a season, people won't tolerated a 3rd bad playoffs year for Price. Here in Montreal, you're a hero then a zero, or vice-versa, pretty fast. For people thinking Price will be better, this summer is a good time to buy nice cards of Carey Price, prices are lower than ever.

I wish that were true. They bottomed out earlier in the spring but he's clearly recovering and auctions are actually competitive again.

Its a one way deal not a two way deal giving to AHL Players which means he be a backup to Price which the Fan Radio is saying

Per the Montreal Canadiens website:
Canadiens General Manager Bob Gainey announced Monday the signing of goaltender Curtis Sanford to a one-year, two-way contract for the 2009-10 season

I'll give the Canadiens' official website and Mr. Gainey a little more credibility on what the Canadiens are up to than The Fan radio network.
