Agreed...any place that allows Pelosi to be involved in policy making in any way is going to have problems.
Also agreed. Ahnold isn't the best candidate, but he's much better than most of the rest of the Cali field.

I think they should take that border fence and flip it up Horizontally. Block out the left coast and open the Mexico border. Let the people that actually want the American dream have it. i would mutch rather have hard working people that generally still have family values and morals than what California represents.

Yeah, wasnt it some pornstar, Gary Coleman, and some other stupid actor?
That is probably the main problem with California, they only have stupid people running. Yeah, politicians may be greedy and a bunch of liars, but they are still smart (maybe).

The proposed budget incorporates new off-shore drilling, but hardly enough to make a significant dent in the deficit. However, there would be no tax on the oil extraction. Besides that, more of the same with deep cuts in education, etc etc etc.
Basically, the corporations came out unscathed. But what's new? The way things are done in government here is what has messed up the budget.

Tax breaks and stars have residency in other states to avoid taxes. Cali also wastes tax dollars providing services to the stars. The MJ memorial cost over a million and the state/city covered that.

It is called spend, spending and more spending. Doesn't California make up 1/5 of the US GDP? If California goes south so does the rest of the US economy.
The Terminator is much to blame, but really he has little power. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the vast majority of state government Democrat? Both U.S. Senators Democrats? L.A. Mayor Democrats? There is very little a governor can do when your veto means little and the most powerful people in the U.S. congress are from the opposing party. Just ask Linda Lingle in Hawaii. I think everyone of her vetoes have been overridden within days of her action.
The Terminator is far from a fiscal conservative and the state government loves to spend and give away money. That is the problem!

NOw he says that he is going to autograph government vehicles so they can auction them and make some money. I think this is a good idea and can bring some money to reduce their deficit.

It's the state itself, they can not enact anything without the people voting on it, when you have to vote on something common sense NEVER wins but whoever spends the most money and lies wins..
