    Question PS3 help needed

I have never heard of this happening, but want to see if anyone else has had this trouble. I own a XBOX360 and PS3. I let my kids play their old PS2 games on my 3. Now comes the trouble. The boys and me played a yugi oh ps2 game for 2 or 3 days. Not all the time. But then I decided to rent a new ps3 game and now my ps3 won't even read any of my ps3 games or any of my blu-ray discs!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Tried restoring the system and just updated the system online tonight. Still nothing. Now I own the most expensive PS2 (thanks to not playing 3 or blurays)

    Anyone know something I don't?

    George,

What size is your HD(or at least what size was it at purchase).... I have heard this one before and it is pretty interesting

Put your game disc into the drive
Load a demo game or game from hard drive
    Press the PS button
    Select option to quit game

Also, what happens when you try a ps3 game.. Does it not pick it up under the game tab at all.. Does the system recgonize the game but then not spin it??? LMK a bit more detail

Gonna try it on its side.

    Jay,
I put in either or bluray or ps3 game in top right corner I see a disc like its scanning and that is it. Nothing happens it just sits there. Doing nothing else.

If it were that simple. Looking like it was one of the update downloads for the PS3. See several other had same thing happen after a new update

    George,

Did you update before your ps2 session and then try a ps3.. These errors happen RIGHT away when trying to put in a ps3 game... I was going to suggest your disc not going in all the way but your ps2 games work so that essentially leaves something with the blu ray player IMHO

    Jay
