If it's a $50 card and since NFL isn't in season, i'd say you may get 20-30 for it.
Graded, unless it grades 9.5 or 10 you will probably lose money by the time you pay for grading.
my 2 cents

new cards don't need grading as bad as vintage, I would list it as is. Spending money to make money on E-Bay??? not for $25, even if you did slab it and got $40 that means 25% to 35% of your profit went to overhead and your right back to the starting point.
If it's a $50 card and since NFL isn't in season, i'd say you may get 20-30 for it. Jonnyweb sounds about right

There are some completed listings for cards from the same set but just diff people. Highest being the flacco. Dont forget you can always make an ebay listing and set a reserve price and start the bidding at 0....if you really wanted to see what the card would go for.

Honestly, I would hold off on selling it right now unless you really need $20 or $30 because that's probably what you would get for it. If you wait until the season starts, you would get at least and extra $20 for it.
I actually don't have a steve slaton auto and I am wanting one. PM me if your interested in selling it through the forum!

IMHO, it would be a waste of money to get the card graded for the following reasons:
1) The card is #d out of 40--how much more unique are you really making it?
2) Its a new card so, in theory, it should grade high--too much downside risk to grading the card (i.e., getting less than a 9.5 (or even a 9.5) doesn't net you much as people will assume that as the grade)
3) If the card only books for $50, you really aren't getting much "bang for your buck" when you factor in that the shipping/grading will cost you almost half the book value at the least.
That is all.
