Carey Price Game-Used Stick

This part of the site needs some more hockey. :)

I was able to pick this up direct from the Canadiens through their end-of-season game-used equipment sale. Epic thanks to Mathieu Lapointe, their director of memorabilia, for going above and beyond in getting this to me through overnight shipping.

I've even got it photomatched to a couple games from this past March, one against the Rangers and one against the Senators.

That is so cool!!! I love the fact that you matched it up to the pics. So how did you go about contacting the team to buy some of the GU items? I need to look into that.

A buddy of mine here on the site gave me the name - I had called the Habs the week before the sale asking if they'd be able/willing to ship items for any out-of-towners and got a no. After the sale was done, I figured, hey, what's the worst that can happen? I was bracing myself for him to say a lot more than he did for the final price, but it was very reasonable and they only charged me $20 for overnight priority shipping. Needless to say, happy!
