The ONE-OF-ONE Controversy..

We've all seen it....Joe Smo has a One-of-One of one of your favorite player and YOU want it. Joe says, "sure....I'll sell it for XXXX dollars."

I know a Kobe Bryant One-of-One would be more valuable than a fourth string running back that hasn't seen the football field in five years...

but how do you determine the value of that one-of-one?

i think since there is only one, its the holders right to put any number on it, and your right to think if its worth based off of its value to you

Agreed...1/1s are really the truest form of the free market concept in the hobby. It's worth what the consumer is willing to pay and not a penny more. Really, the buyer dictates the value...if they're willing to pay that much, it's worth that much and if they're not, it's not.
