because there is no way he can tear up real NBA players like he is against these dleaguers..there to good to let Griffin impose will on them, they play defense (well most guys)Hidden Content

Wade couldnt win without Shaq, so your saying he isnt a superstar? Every superstar needs other players in order to win. Melo and Billups together took the Nuggets to the Western Finals against the NBA Champs so i think thats a HUGE upgrade to where they were last year. thanx

Actually Shaq couldnt win without Wade, he carried the team in the playoffs...
Never said superstars dont need other players, but superstars have intangiable abilitys that Melo just doesnt, he doesnt seem to have the will or want to attack and take over a game..

Hostile? I simply asked where he got his information from. There seem to be some posts that lack intellectual thought processes in the way that they are presented. It was presented as a fact. So, I was curious to know what he knew, that nobody else did. I was going to see if I could send this info to Clippers management.

Think about it. This thread is about how Blake Griffin autos will sell....how can you have facts on it, when it's never happened? Which is why I'm wondering why you keep asking everyone who dogs on Griffin where a link is for their facts.....
Everything said is this tread is strictly OPINION BASED....so asking for links/facts makes you look a little silly, don't ya think?

As a KU Jayhawks fan, I detest OU, but I do watch A LOT of Big 12 basketball. Blake Griffin will be a very good NBA player. I think he'll fall somewhere between better than Carlos Boozer and slightly below the Amare Stoudemire that existed pre-injury (and living in Phoenix, I've seen a lot of him too). And Boozer and Amare rookie autos aren't tearing up the hobby right now. The thing is, he is a big man, and outside of the sudden burst on the scene of Dwight Howard this year leading his team to the finals, no Big Man has really got a lot of hobby love. Karl Malone was the premiere power forward, but he never sold high. Durant, Melo, Wade, those guys are slashers and scorers that can do it themselves. Griffin is gonna need some help getting the ball in the right spot, but he can definitely score and finish when he does. In the beginning, he will sell pretty high because the new stuff will come out and he will be the most recognizable guy from the draft class (You really think Hasheem Thabeet or James Harden are going to take away the hobby money?). I was a little more impressed with the college seasons of Durant and Beasley than I was Griffin (he had a little more help than Beasley did), but I also think he outworks Beasley so he has the potential to be a better NBA player. I would say you're looking at a 16 ppg 9 rebound per game rookie, which is very solid, but I think the initial prices will come down as soon as the Clippers remain bad and people realize he's going to be a very good NBA player, not a superstar.
Just my two cents......

It's comments like these, that warrant my conversation. Once again, it shows that you have NEVER watched Griffin play, His biggest downfall last season, was that he would pass the ball off to teammates, when he had the open shot. In post game interviews, the coaching staff would comment, how he needs to be more selfish, and take the shot. But he is always looking to involve his team. He is also one of the best ball handling/passing big men I've seen come out of College in the last 20 years. He is also extremely humble. Never shows ANY emotion...good or bad. SO, how is that "showing off...or showboating?
I could care less what peoples opinion of Griffin is. However, when people who FABRICATE false truths, try to push them off as fact, Im going to call them out on thier lies. Somebody has to be held accountable. Like the post highlighted above. When enough people post BS, there needs to be some accountability.
LOL! He wont ever be Amare, Amare was almost the MVP, a guy who averaged 30/10+ in the playoffs i believe..
Amare is the most comparible player in the league today to Griffin. Size, speed, and athletic ability. You dont have to like it. But it is what it is. Well, in addition to the fact that Griffin can put the ball on the floor and handle it like a guard. (at 6'9-6'10") I honestly think, that alot of people see him being "white" so they discount his crazy hops.
I don't care if people dont like him. GREAT...more cards for me. Where my beef is, when people who arent familiar with him, claim to have an opinion on his abilities. Especially when its obvious they dont understand the fundamentals of the game. But becasue if his athletic ability, understanding of the game, and a work ethic that is not found in many players today, he will become one of the "so called" superstars in the NBA.
The nay-sayers wont be anywhere to be found, once the season starts, and once his career is in full swing.
