I wish they add a 100 cards update set in november/december to close the 100th anniversary.

Maybe than can add these cards as inserts in other UD products ?

While you've definitely put a lot of thought into it, and while I love the set, and while I'll take any excuse for Josh to get more cards, this gets a no from me.

What makes the Centennial set so awesome is that it was lightning in a bottle. The Canadiens organization did a spectacular job putting this all together, and UD did a great job putting it out there for us. As I said in the poll thread somewhere on this front page, not every blockbuster needs to have a sequel. It was a great one-off release and I think it's best left that way.

Also, at this point anything with the words "Canadiens Centennial" in it conjures up some bad memories.

All that said, commendable effort with all the thought you put into this prospective list!

I think I've made this statement a lot on here - "I'm going to agree with Richard".

You've put a lot of thought into it, and I do like the general idea of your checklist. I just hate the idea of a 2nd set.

I like the work and ideas you put into this but I'm also going to say no, the Centennial Set was the Centennial Set and that's it, no more is needed in my opinion

You should apply for a job at Upper Deck! Great job there! All the cards were selected after thorough thought. The next thing to determine is what to insert to put in the memorabilia auto cards.

the goal is this thread is about the roster of the ''update'' set ... not to know opinion about the release of a new set :o) We discussed about the release in a other thread...

Hey I think Souray and Streit are not in the first set because the signed with other teams when they was free agent...
