I hate this release period-at least my two boxes. It is your typical high end release-youre either going to be thrilled or absolutely destroyed. I got destroyed.
Hits:
4 Classic Collections-3 of them were tires/99
1 was JGR Firesuit 21/25
2 teammates autos
MWR
Penske
2 3rd Gears
4 2nd Gears
no door #s or case hits or anything
to me-a giant waste of money-cards are beautiful-but its a major letdown when you pay as much as we did a box. Everyone else seemed to do great though so ill just leave it at that.

just want to edit my comments a little on this release-at the time I posted my initial thoughts i was rather ticked since I got 2 subpar boxes. However-the cards and the product are both very nice and everyone else seems to be pulling great things-so Id think this porduct deserves a good grade from me even though my boxes werent the best-every release is going to have those and someone has to get stuck with em-it was my turn.
The cards are absolutely beautiful though. Good job Press Pass on this stuff-its really nice.

i use irfanview (maybe irfanview.com?) its free and makes fixing and resizing all pictures very easy. nice cards.

Here's the results from my 2009 PP Showcase (6) box case break. In (18) packs I received (19) 'HITS' + (1) '4th Gear' Base Parallel Insert (#/15). Of the (19) 'HITS', (6) were autos (Earnhardt Jr, Gordon, Petty, Waltrip, Harvick & Keselowski !!!) & (5) were numbered to 25 or less. There was one REDEMPTION (Gordon Prized Pieces), BUT is was available on a 1 day turnaround. Can't beat that (HINT...HINT UD).
Overall, I was EXTREMELY pleased with the value and CREATIVITY of this product. To me, this is racing's equivilant of EXQUISITE.

Finally found a few minutes to scan these to post. Yeah, I know it's been over a month but better late then never!
I know it was almost a grand for the half case, but I think some of these cards made it worthwhile. Only wish I could have pulled a few of these sweet Harvick & Earnhardt cards that others have pulled, lol.
