Florida State is so stupid IMO that I pray they lose to Miami and screw any chance of a National Title right away. FSU could have placed a NO vote in taking Miami into the ACC and Miami wouldn't have had the votes, but for some odd reason, they voted yes.

FSU had 2 big advantages over Miami in the past :

1)FSU in the weak ACC was pretty much guaranteed a BCS bid every year. Last year they went 9-4 and STILL got the BCS bid. Now, if they lose 1 game, say bye bye to the good BCS bowl and all that money.

2)FSU plays most of its games close to home. That meant less travel time and closer traveling distance for players relatives to go to road games. Players going to FSU would be a lot closer to home than Miami guys.

Now that's over so I really don't see why Miami won't continue to win the battle of recruiting in Florida.
