what are some of your best retail pulls

due to having less money i hardly visit the hobby shop or buy online anymore. I'm just sticking to singles and 2-3 times a month retail. I've had about 4 semi decent pulls out of retail in about 3 years. just wanted to see what other people had for good pulls out of retail.

My best retail pull was from the 00-01 Topps set. I got an Autographed version of the 89-90 Mario Lemieux Reprint Insert.

The card came out of a handfull of packs bought at my local Kmart.

Lemieux was one of my heroes growing up, so to pull this from a pack made it so much more special than if I had bought it. The fact that it came from Kmart is icing on the cake. Since then the odds of getting a good hit in retail packs have gotten much worse as they try to drive people towards Hobby packs. I don't imagine I could ever top that one. I even wonder if a card like that would even make it into a retail pack these gays.

i pulled a 07-08 Roy Upper Deck JSY in a S2 retail box, other than that i haven't had too much over the $50 mark

I got an 03/04 Pvt Stock Broduer Blue #/25 that was 2c. With the multipliers it was BV $250. I traded a couple nice PC cards for it. Also Pulled an 05/06 Bossy Inked IImortals #/10, but got bent over in a trade for a PC/Set card I really needed

well when i first really started collecting in 06/07 i actually thought retail was the one with more hits and the ones to get. well after 2 boxes of series 1 retail i pulled the jordan staal rookie, than i moved on to series 2 and in my first series 2 break witch was a blaster box from london drugs i got the malkin rc

This weekend I took my 7 year old son to a local show. A dealer threw out a fresh box of 08-09 Black Diamond. I let the boy pick out two packs and he got a Peter Forsberg jersey Quad.

I quickly pronounced the card 'not cool' and stashed it in my collection. Needless to say I'm bringing him along next trip as my designated pack picker.
